Amazing Service
By Gemma J on 06 April 2025 | Purchase not verified
I recently purchased a car from Midlands Car Trader, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. From the moment I reached out to inquire, the team was incredibly responsive and helpful. They took the time to answer all my questions and ensured I was completely comfortable with my choice. The selection of vehicles is fantastic, with a wide range of well-maintained cars that fit various budgets. The quality of the car I bought is outstanding – exactly as described, and I was given a full breakdown of the car’s history. The whole buying process was smooth and stress-free, with no pressure at all.The customer service was exceptional. They really go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. I felt valued as a customer from start to finish. I highly recommend Midlands Car Trader for anyone looking for a quality used car and a seamless car-buying experience! 5 stars all the way!

Poor

Poor described Vehicle. Traded a vehicle in for a vehicle for sale. Initially paid a little extra towards the other car but car traded in was immaculate. Car I had was described as immaculate but far from it. Words in advert were ‘drives like a new car’. Drove 3 hours and didn’t get there until late, after taking the vehicle away, within 15 mins the engine management light came on. Was too late to turn around so drove it home 3 hours away. Vibrations in the wheels at high speeds and EML light on. Contacted dealer who advised to ck tact the next day. Upon checking the EGR valve was faulty along with an oxygen sensor. Dealer offered part of money back but not all I had paid and not a fraction of what the costs would be. In one week since having the car, I have had to have two brand new rear tyres as ones on car were all cracked causing the vibrations, along with full wheel alignments and wheel balancing on all wheels, 2 chips in windscreen also, water jets were faulty as parts missing. New egr valve and new oxygen sensor. I noticed EML port had been opened so seems light had been turned off prior to me taking the car. In the light a large scratch which had been touched up was visable, not noticeable unless looking close but when close it was clear. Overall it has cost me near £1000 this week to put the issues right, and all I had back was £250. Clearly sold a car which was nowhere near ‘driving like new’. Just be mindful, take for a serious test drive and inspection, advise to take a code reader too to check nothing hiding. Very disappointed as travelled nearly 4 hours one way for the car and 4 hours home to a car which was nowhere near as described.
